here is what was probably the original danbury CT one on newtown rd and it is in the berkshire plaza near where bradlees was and now wal-mart. notice the labelscar on the side of the building bradlees and it seems to have also said stop and shop there (They were owned by same corp once from 1961-1992).

This one is a bit unusual, with the front being so close to the road and parking alongside.

Also - These (most of them brown, this one grey) front designs seem to have a spot in the center which looks like another door/window - I'm guessing it wasn't (since that is where customer service usually winds up)?

form what iknow that stop&shop in danbur has been there for awile it was also the first time i ever wentt o a s top & shop from the looks of it i was probley bulit in the late 80's
