And here is the road sign. The sign originally read “Park Plaza” in block lettering. Then the “Park”
portion was replaced by the Ames logo after Kmart moved out in 1990. The entire old sign (I wish I had a photo of it) was replaced by the current sign a few years back. The next photo is one the current owner put up shortly after to try and lure new tenants to the plaza. It didn’t work.
