burlington mall (mass)

the burlington mall is in burlington mass (suburb of boston) off Rt.128 on a road called middlesex turnpike. The mall has a MAcy's (looks like the ones in Bedford NH, WArwick RI, SOuth portland me, braintree mass, PEabody mass), Sears, Lord and TAylor and a 168,000 square foot MAcy's. MAcy's was Jordan MArsh  and Jordan Marsh became MAcy's in spring 1996. lord and taylor opened 1978. The mall was expanded and renovated in 1988 and the 2nd level was added. it was expanded by 127,000 square fet. The mall is currently 1.25 million square feet and has room for 180 stores. disney store opened in 1988 and is a big one. it was just above warner borthers store. the mall has a Big kb toys, a suncoast and a lot of neat stores. The mall had a warner brothers studio store that closed late 2000 and a great train store. the mall just got a cheesecake factory. The filene's will be divested in early 2006 and becoems a 144,000 squrae foot Nordstrom in Spring 2008.
