they are building a brand new Office max in the old Marketplace mall Cicero NY

so all the office max stores in New Englad are closing? The retail world is getting shaken up, first TRU, and now Office Max, closing mad stores. Burlington Coat is being bought out by a privaye investment firm.

anyone got the skinny on the store closings.  I still hearing all the CT stores are history by April, 2006

Check this website out. it has all the stores that office max had but closed them all. their trying to sell the stores. Seems that their closing all the CT stores. i dont know if this is all the 110 stores their clsoing, but it seems to be.

OFFICEMAX WILL JUST GO OUT. THEY STARTd in 1988. ALL IN NEW HAMPSHIRE ARE CLOSIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! middletown RI is closing. the ones in mass closing are in attleboro, saugus, brockton and west springfield not all will close as the ones in framingham, dartmouth leominster and shrewsbury and hanover will remain. why all in NH. all in connecticut are going. They will miight as well go out. the only one left in RI is in cranston.

the ones in neew york closing are in binghampton, poughkeepsie, white plains, syracuse, huntinton, naunet. But i saw 2 in albany within a couple miles of each other and none will close!

CT stores are not officially closing. The Office Max corporate page states that no official word on any stores were made.

This is the OfficeMax on Wolf Road in Albany.  This store was another office supply place before being taken over by Office Max (can't remember the name, but not one of the other 2 chains - they had green decor.  I believe it was something else prior to that (the building was not built for the office place), but don't know what it was.

here is one of the few officemax left in CT and new england (man officemax is on their way out with closing stores like this). this one is in waterbury CT in the brass center common
