The Toyota "Jeep"

Does anyone know what years Toyota made their own version of a "Jeep"?  It looked very similar to an actual Jeep but it was Toyota's own version from I am guessing the 1970's??  Does anyone know what years they were produced and what was the actual name of the vehicle? :huh:

Toyota Land Cruiser. Not sure when they started...but the oldest one on ebay has a date of 1965. They go until around 1983 before becoming just an suv-type auto using the same name.

Thanks for the info!  I had no idea that they were produced for that many years.  It would seem that in today's market this might be a vehicle that Toyota might look at bringing back.
