China oil company drops bid for 76

Well the China oil company has decided to drop their bid on Unocal 76 which means Chevron has this all locked up in taking over 76.  The China oil company was asking more, but politics forced the company to drop the bid.

No, not at this time.  I think 76 is going to stay around for a while.

There hasn't been a 76 station around my area in the last 5-10 years.

The 76 retail operations are run by Conoco-Philips.  They changed the ball to red.  

  76 pulled out of Ohio in the late 90's.  Most became Marathon or closed.
