Washington Crown Center, a mall in Washington, PA 25 miles south of Pittsburgh, is being sold to an Ohio-based developer who wants to retain the mall structure, but redevelop the interior for mixed-use.

They are seeking zoning changes which will allow them to consolidate the remaining retail at one end of the mall, while repurposing the rest for office space, research, light manufacturing, etc.

I briefly worked at this mall for Hills Department Stores in the 1990's.
