Portland, Maine-based sporting goods chain Olympia Sports is closing all 35 stores by September.

Just saw that the one locally had signs like that yesterday, but wasn't sure if it was just that one or not.

Maybe not surprising, given that somehow that store is the only one in the area (the website gives the next closest one as over the line into VT), after some had closed a couple years back.

I can certainly vouch for that. They were a tenant in my local shopping center. Hopefully it doesn't get filled by another phone dealer (the former Far East Buffet in ours is now an AT&T dealer).
