I used to love Subway, I had so many great meals there, but then the $5 footling went away, I'd go sometimes, but they then skimp on the vegetables, and I'd be stuck with a flat unsatisfying sub. I'd be hungry again a few hours later during work, so I stopped going their so overpriced for what you get now.
Experiences like this are likely why they aren't doing so well anymore.
