im not 100% sure these are old ames carts but they look like they are i saw these at a goodwill all the way up in Minnesota so if they are ames carts i wonder how they got all the way up to Minnesota

One might suspect that if, when the stores were closing, they didn't get anyone local interested in buying the carts those leftovers all got sent to a liquidation warehouse somewhere, thus allowing them to be sold off to other buyers in just about any area of the country (and maybe beyond)?

Those are not Ames carts. Theirs have a black rear gate and a seat flap with four circles going across the flap titled "NO NO NO YES." Plus the fact those have a generic warning label would suggest those are no older than November 2004. Another has a four-circle diagram with the circles on each end, also something the Ames Uniteds didn't have.

The one you show from the front I can tell is labeled "REHRIG UNITED" on the bottom, which suggests it was manufactured in 2007 or 2008.
