Something that they should probably consider bringing back. 

It has the benefits of Dollar Tree (with many items being $1), along with allowing some areas to have higher priced items (I think they did increments of $1, like $2, $3, maybe 2 for $5) that allows them to carry a wider selection of items that can't be sold at just the $1 price point.

Sort of like combining the best parts of Dollar Tree with the best parts of Family Dollar...
