Julie Grant, an anchor for KDKA-TV news in Pittsburgh, has resigned to take
a job with Court TV.  She is an attorney by training and often covered legal stories
while working for KDKA.

Just to let everyone on this forum know (If you are not aware at this point) is that Court TV will also be available on Roku TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, As well as Android and Apple Devices as well upon it's May 8 launch and you can check out this website https://iwantmycourttv.com to see if Court TV will be available in your area either by Cable or Over-the-air by entering your Zip Code.

General notes - In the Pittsburgh area Court TV upon the May 8 launch will not be carried by Comcast/Xfinity (Which I truly use for Cable TV and Internet access since it's the only true option available in my neighborhood) for sure (I can not say for the other Cable providers in the area) but it will have Over-the-air coverage by one of the Digital Subchannels of WPCB-TV which will be Channel 40.2 (I think this may be IMHO truly Ironic considering that WPCB-TV is owned and operated by Cornerstone Television which mainly specializes in Religious programming but they are looking to show some form of diversity and actually be able to truly get viewers that don't ever watch the religious programming that they are known for showing). I also downloaded the Court TV App for both the Roku TV (I do own one) and for Google Android (It was for my Smartphone).

Wow, that is a really interesting decision by WPCB.
That station has been wall-to-wall Christian programming since it
first went on the air in 1979.  40.2 is currently airing 24 hours a day of
sermons from local churches.  The station nearly went noncommercial but
changed their minds after learning the FCC might have certain stipulations
that would prevent them from remaining totally Christian.

I am going through the WPCB over-the-air channels as I am currently typing this and the Digital Channel multiplex setup is currently as follows.

40.1 - Main WPCB Programming (Cornerstone)
40.2 - Court TV (Been showing the Court TV feed prior to today's 9:00 A.M. launch)
40.3 - Bounce TV (I'm not kidding you)
40.6 - Pittsburgh Faith and Family Channel (The sermons from the local churches that you have mentioned that moved here from 40.2 to make room for Court TV)

Thanks for the update!  Guess I am going to have to rescan.

Bounce used to be on a low-power station (Channel 31).
Have to see what replaces them there.  I have been hoping that
somebody would bring back Decades since KDKA dropped them last year.

I have Comcast/XFINITY, and Court TV isn’t even on our lineup yet. When checking their website though, it says that it’s on WUTF channel 27.5, which is antenna.
