The acquired stores will be rebranded Schnucks. Schnucks is basically buying the cream of the crop; the rest of the stores face a very uncertain fate.

Those are the St. Louis area Shop n' Saves, not the ones around Pittsburgh.
Their status remains unchanged, so far as I know.
