Abandoned Gas Station New Britain, Connecticut

An abandoned Food Bag Citgo gas station remains standing more than 15 years after they closed on Slater Road in New Britain. When you take I-84 Exit 36 you take a left and it's just before you get to the Webster Bank Corporate building that at one time was a Walmart and years before that Price Club and years and years before that it was a big shopping Plaza with a Bradlee's and Shoprite. Food Bag (under its corporate name of General Equities) still owns the property where the abandoned gas station is.
