My mom turned me on to this show and I must say I do enjoy it.
Tom Selleck's thespian skills continue to be badly underrated IMO.

I have also noticed that this is one of the most frequently aired shows in
America right now.  In addition to it's Friday prime-time slot on CBS, locally
it runs late nights on my local CBS Affiliate, KDKA-TV, and on the CW affiliate
that is co-owned by them.

On my dish it is aired on WGN in marathon segments at various times.
And it is run frequently (including an all-day Thursday marathon) by Ion Television.

Ion is available on my dish (East and West feeds), and on a local affiliate they have
here, WINP-TV 16. 

I could very nearly watch nothing but Blue Bloods for an entire week if I chose to do so.

The older generation likes the show because of Tom Selleck. The younger generation likes the show because of Donnie "New Kids on the Block" Wahlberg.

I love this show, I love it because of it filming in nyc and the whole cop thing.
