Back when I was growing up they had a store in the notorious (and now demolished) Mall-at-Bristol Centre in Bristol, Connecticut. The store there had hideous shade of pink colored carpeting.

It doesn't seem to be a good time to be a 'boutique women's fashion retailer" these days. In the last year we have lost:

Fashion Bug's situation was a bit different. From what I remember yes they were struggling a bit, but what I understand is the company that bought out Fashion Bug only bought them to get their hands on another chain that they owned and the company that bought the companies wanted nothing to do with Fashion Bug so they closed them. - Yeah it's not a nice thing to do, but it happens in other industries too, not just retail.

The one in Meriden, CT was closed and emptied out when I went to the mall on Monday. The sign was left up.
