Shoprite Plaza Bristol, CT

Shoprite Plaza in Bristol is located at 1182-1232 Farmington Avenue (Route 6). The plaza underwent a major upgrade about 10 years ago. In addition to redoing the facade (except for the Shoprite Building) they put in new sidewalks, redid the parking lot, and built a large new building that houses quite a few businesses. It's currently owned by Developers Realty Group of West Hartford, CT or East Berlin, CT.

This Shoprite store still features the old pre-2003 logo on the building. While the store has undergone some upgrades recently it's still rundown compared to other stores.

Why won't the owners of ShopRite fix the front of the building? It looks very tacky on the outside. The inside is not too bad, but you can tell that the store is really old and that renovations are few and far between.

Come to think of it, the whole facade on the rest of the plaza could use a paint job.

A new salon called Sports Clips Salon is opening is Shoprite Plaza in Bristol, CT on May 15th. It's located in the former AT&T Wireless Store and is located 2 doors down from Supercuts. I'm surprised that they're letting 2 salons operated so close to one another. I don't know when AT&T Closed. It was still open in November which is the last time I got take out from The China Chef Chinese Restaurant, which is in-between Supercuts and the new Sports Clips Salon. AT&T didn't abandoned Bristol. This location that closed was their second location. There other store is further up Farmington Avenue in The Annex Building of the Bristol Commons.
