Does anybody remember Rolling Acres Mall at all? It was a very lovely mall. I loved going there back in the 1980/1990's/early2000's. My mother would take my brother and I both there once every summer as well as once every winter to get us out of the house as long as the roads were weather safe and free from ice and snow. The whole mall is now dead. The only store left that still exists at this mall is the JC's 5star OUTLET Store which I still go to to this day. Here are some links to information that can be provided to you about the mall as well as pictures.

The sad news is the fact that all of the crime that used to be in this area followed the business to the nearby Chapel Hill Mall when Rolling Acres Mall closed. 90some% of Rolling Acres crime is now in the Chapel Hill Mall area which means that crime in the Rolling Acres Mall area in now in the single digits.

Wow, excellent pictures of this place. Would love to go there, but I am all the way in CT. Reminds me of the old naugatuck valley mall in Waterbury.

You may notice that some of these websites state that the JCPenney Outlet Store at Rolling Acres Mall is closed, but that is simply not true. The JCPenney Chain sold all fifteen of their JCPenney Outlet Stores back in 2011 to an independent company. This independent company now owns all fifteen of the JCPenney Outlet Stores nationwide and have renamed them as JC's 5star OUTLET. JC's 5star OUTLET is still open and does phenomenal business. I still go shopping there to this day. In fact, if my local JCPenney Store does go under, JC's 5star OUTLET will become my new permanent department store.
