And way to go on that Youngstown/Boardman store! It's still an oldie and has the old road sign and it's GIANT!

The one in Canton looks to me like it was one of the "corner" shaped stores built from 1980-84. Might've possibly had a glass exit too (look at the off-coloring on the far left end. Sign on that one is so high up there!

yes I was happy I found that. I know canton must have been built like in 1987 as its store number is near Boardman's and that store told me it was built in 1987. And Toys r us did not enter northeast Ohio market until 1986.

The Milford Ct store has a wierd look. I have now been to All the Toys r us' in New england (I never went to the ones in East haven Ct which is closed and the old Waterbury one which moved 10 years ago) and the only Brown one in NEw england is the one in Woburn and Bangor is kind of old school as the brown roof has a cheap white repaint and no remodeling was done.
