This is a 1979 Plymouth Volare Police cruiser.  This must have been one of those cop cars where the officer slapped the single siren flashing light on top when he was in pursuit. :insane:

This was always my favorite police car when I was a kid.  It was a circa 1976 to 1978 Dodge Coronet.  On "The Dukes of Hazzard" it was solid white, and on "CHiP's" it was black and whilte like seen on this book cover.  Does anyone else remember these cars?

I saw one of these as a Mass State Police car in Cape Cod!  I couldn't believe it, it looked so much bigger than all the other cruisers around it!

Here in Georgia, every county got one to use as their high performance car. So I see them often.
