When Ames acquired Zayre, they branded the former Zayre on Springfield Street which became Ames. Any seasoned AFC vet knows this was a Zayre. I believe they shuttered the Suffield Street location shortly after realizing Springfield Street was a better deal. After the acquisition, Suffield St. was vacant for a long time. It has since become "JR's Flea Market" recently (within the last few years if my facts are straight).

It might be difficult to grab interior pictures here since they're only open on Saturday and Sunday. I did however, when I visited the Big E last year and to my surprise, they didn't change much inside with giant red "A" decals all over the walls
