Just curious and something retail related...

1.) A "speciality shop" (American Eagle, Hot Topic...)
2.) A larger store that mainly sells clothing (Old Navy, Gap)
3.) A "Department" Store (Sears, Kohl's..)
4.) A discount store (Target, Kmart)
5.) An outlet/closeout store (Value City, Big Lots, JCPenney outlet)

I mainly just go to Target and chuck stuff in the cart, im not fancy at all. (Plus the Cherokee t-shirts at Target are much better quality then the Old Navy stuff). Jeans i'll buy at Kohl's, with maybe a nicer shirt or two from JCPenney or kohl's. Sneakers i'll usually get at Value City, but Value City has horrible clothing (ex. shirts with logos of businesses on them, labels sewn upside down)

I usually buy my regular casual clothes and dress pants at Wal * Mart (I'm so terrible), Value City, or AJ Wright.  And I but my dress shirts and ties for work (I have to wear dress pants, shirts, and ties) at Burlington Coat Factory, and my shoes ay PayLess or Value City.

Nowadays I shop at Express. I occasionally find some nice here and there's at Target. Sometimes I buy from Filene's as well because they carry some more obscure, nice designer stuff. I have one overlaying principle: always buy what's on sale or clearance otherwise I can usually wait.

Since my all-time favorite, Petite Sophisticate, is no longer in business, I would have to say that my clothes will be coming from Sears and JC Penney since they have pretty decent petite departments.

jmcnamara96

i go to JC Penny or Sears and Old Navy
i use to at Ames and Bradlees:bigsmile:

I don't limit myself to any specific retailer by any means, but I do buy a lot of my clothes at Marshall's, sometimes in the kids' section if I can get away with it! :insane: I generally purchase my jeans at American Eagle, though as those seem to fit me the best. Occasionally, however, I'll buy stuff at deeply discounted 'salvage' type retailers like Marden's or OSJL, or even every now and again at Goodwill if the price, fit, and look are right, but I've probably not been in the latter for at least a year. I spend WAY too much money on clothes for someone who hasn't really grown since they were fourteen! :P

I'm a large guy so I usually buy my clothes at Walmart if I can find my size, but I'm trying to change my image a little and will be buying some stuff at AJ Wright after the first of the year.

KmartDanny09

As I have a discount, I usually buy my clothes at Kmart or Sears. I will sometimes shop at JCPenny, or Kohl's but it depends on the sales they have running. I have been trying to stop shopping at Wal-Mart, but they usually have the best prices for underwear and socks.

silverrose43

I get a lot of of my clothes at Hot Topic because I work there and I get a discount.

Otherwise pretty much everything else i get at Kohls

These days I buy from Target, H&M and on occasion, Macy's because they practically hand out coupons and other great markdowns on overpriced MSRP designer stuff. I often check the TJX Co. stores, but never buy mainly because I'm a small size guy and they cater to the L and XL crowds (for men, at least).
