here is a forum to put pictures of areas of places under construction or doing construction or being renovated.

this is photos of the lakes region plaza in gilford new hampshire. that plaza once had a K-mart, that was a WT Grant, a star market, a cinema, papa gino's and a gift store and a liquor store. it was built in 1967 and died off.
it will become a plaza with lowe's, a relocated papa gino's and some others.

What is that small building with the blue roof? Is it a bank? will it be torn down?

Demolition of the former Ames in Portland, Maine this summer.  They are probably now building the new Lowe's there.

Construction at the new Kohl's in Augusta in september.  They are building a Dick's Sporting Goods and Circuit City.  The Augusta Marketplace will be bigger than ever.

here is the construction of the target/lowe's in biddeford across from biddeford gateway and ther were bulldozer vieclhles. target opens october 2006 and lowe's opens late fall 2006.

here is the construction of the target in somersworth taht is to be next to the current home depot, that opened 2 years ago from this time, and the target opens october 2006.

the building with the small roof is a bank and it will probably be torn down.

the building with the small roof is a bank and it will probably be torn down.

Thats sad. It looks like a nice building for a bank.
