A troubled franchisee closed 13 Dominos Pizza stores in Ohio, and chose to notify their employees that they had all been laid-off by sending them a text!

Something similar happened here near me when a Bravo! Italian Ristorante closed suddenly and their abruptly unemployed employees told local media that they learned this when they showed up to work only to find the doors locked.

Is it really asking too much to give your employees a little bit of advance notice if you are thinking of closing your store?
