QuickChek looks to expand into Capital Region

QuickChek has several locations planned for the Capital District. One involves demolishing the Walgreens at 1850 Central Ave in Colonie, and another on Wolf Rd is currently being built on the site of the former Bed Bath & Beyond; see picture provided.

That other one doesn't make much sense - why not the opposite corner with the no longer a Rite Aid (unless Walgreens is moving over there?).

I quess this one will have to be nicknamed the QuickShopRiteChek, given that was the original tenant, long before BB&B went to the beyond ;)

Along with this article, there has been mention of one in Schodack (just off I-90 Exit 11 heading towards Nassau, by Route 150 before 9 & 20 split) and one down in Greenport (Hudson addresses), in front of the plaza where Walmart is there.

Just took them a while, since they've had their stores in Saugerties and Kingston for at least a decade now.
