Long time Hartford, CT News anchor dead at 61

Denise D'Ascenzo who had been an anchor at WFSB Channel 3 in Hartford, CT for 34 years died yesterday at age 61.

All four news stations in the Hartford/New Haven had this as their lead story on their late news last night. It is also noted that at WTNH News 8 anchor Jocelyn Maminta was on the verge of tears reading the story.
