#1129 - Lima, OH

This store was originalls Hills #129.  Now a Kohl's, it has been extensively renovated and no longer resembles an Ames.  I didn't bother going inside.

I don't know how it is today, but when I lived in that part of the world
Lima, Ohio was considered a pretty rough town.

It seems a lot of the Detroit drug gangs moved down there and set up shop after
Michigan adopted life without parole for third-strike felony possession in the late 80's.
They were having a lot of problems with drive-by shootings and the like.
