Retail Regents

This shopping center is located off NY-104 in Greece, NY, a contiguous suburb of Rochester.

Current tenants include:

Pro Nails 1
Empire Beauty School
Supercuts
Sally Beauty
Walmart (which owns their building)

Some businesses not listed as tenants sit between the shopping center's parking lot and NY-104 include Chili's Bar & Grill, Firestone, Monro Auto Services, James Mitsubishi Greece, Brook House, and Taco Bell.

Some former tenants include Sam's Club (which closed in the January 2018 round of closures), OfficeMax (closed in May 2019), First Niagara Bank, Rainbow Clothing (signs still up), Payless Shoesource, and Dollar Tree (moved to Lowes Plaza a mile east).

The insanely outdated freestanding Walmart is the only retail tenant in the entire shopping center, while everything in the strip is a beauty-themed tenant.

Just wondering. Is the first picture the old Sam's Club? The sign that says 'Space Available' looked like an old supermarket. I guess you didn't take it a few days ago...unless lake effect snow is bad... :-)

The first picture is the Sam's Club. It's a newer picture, from May 2019. Exterior looks like it was never updated, save for the current logo when it was still operating.

The one of the former Tops was taken in March of last year. The "Don't Enter!" graffiti inside the visible vestibule seems almost like a threat the way it's phrased. The landlord raised the rent, and refused all negotiations with Tops, so they left. That was in October 2012.

The interior of the Wal-Mart would remind you of what many of the old Division 1 locations were like over a decade ago before they were remodeled or replaced with Supercenters. It's really bad.
