I have never been to Syracuse.  Most of what I know I heard
from a friend of my late mother who lives there.

I did see a movie starring Emma Roberts that was shot in Syracuse.
It did not look impressive.  Aside from scenes that were shot on the
Syracuse University campus (which is beautiful), the rest of the town
reminded me of all the worst sections of Flint and Toledo put together.
