These two car manufacturer's are going to be the "Wal-Marts" of the auto industry.  It will take awhile but eventually GM will be the K-Mart of car companies.

It's already happened. Toyota owns the U.S. Market. Hyundai and Kia are also major threats to the U.S auto makers!

Yechh I hate Japanese cars. They may be good quality, but they're SOOO boring!!!

PS- I heard GM may start production in China. Not sure if this is true or not.

GM will be lucky to keep what they have.  Their cars are for the most part disposable, and most people know quality is not a part of the GM production plan.

Actually, more "forgeign" cars are actually built in America then "American" car companies.  Most GM products are not made in Mexico.  GM just announced that they were cutting an additional 28,000 american jobs.  Some American Company to be proud of.

tell me about it. More Nissans are produced in America then some GM Cars. Sad

And most Nissan's have a better resale value than most American cars.

The same with Toyota!

HoJofan206

HIgh resale value vehicles.

Toyota, Honda, Lexus, BMW, (all the high end brands)

Low Resale value vehicles:
Kia, Hyundai, Deawoo, Gm cars (GM trucks do good) Chrysler.
