New Fall TV Shows

So far I've watched 3 new fall TV shows. I watched "Kevin Can Wait", "Speechless," and "This is Us." The first two were stupid and I doubt I'll watch them again. The third "This is Us" was interesting, but I can't make heads or tails of it - especially with the couple in the show that look like they were cloned from Mike & Molly.

I watched Kevin Can Wait last night.  My goodness, what a bad show!

He is basically playing the same character he played on King of Queens.  Right down
to being clad in an assortment of New York sports fan gear.   Which means the guy
is not an actor as he is incapable of playing anything other than himself.

The supporting cast of this show is not nearly as good as the one he had on
King of Queens.   Do we REALLY want to see Doug progress through middle age
as a fat clown?  Past a certain point that just becomes sad.  (Rowan Atkinson famously
stopped doing Mr. Bean because he felt that audiences just could not stand to watch
that character get old).

I give this show six weeks, tops.
