One not on the list:

WLNS-TV (CBS) 6.3 Lansing, Michigan

What's interesting is that Lansing is already barely served by a full Ion O&O-WZPX, although that station is intended for the Grand Rapids market.

Another interesting thing is that Media General decided to go directly to 6.3, skipping 6.2, which has been missing since the Live Well Network shut down and took 6.2 with it.

Here's WANE-TV 15.3 in action, made possible by a very strong tropo opening emanating southwest from Metro Detroit.

Also not on the list is WWLP 22.3/WFXQ-CD 28.3 in Springfield, Mass.

This is the second new channel Media General launched on WWLP this year. Earlier this year they launched The CW Network giving the market its first OTA CW affiliate ever. Previously they had a cable only feed of The CW in the market.

I would've preferred that Media General work out a deal with Ion to timeshare the Ion network, by airing qubo kids' programming during the day from 6 AM to 5 PM, and Ion during the evening and late night hours. I don't seem to show much interest in Ion's programs (at least the stuff being broadcast on their main channel).
