Scripps Broadcasting is bringing GRIT TV to 4 cities.

Tampa: WFTS

Kansas City: KSHB

Vegas: KTNV

Green Bay: WACY

Have had it here in Pittsburgh for a number of months now.

If you like Westerns (which I don't particularly) you will like GritTV.

I kind of like the nostalgia of some of the old vigilante films from the 1970's
that they run (Dirty Harry, Walking Tall, Billy Jack, the Death Wish series, etc.)

I don't like Westerns either, but I still think it's a good idea. The more variety available the better. Someone in Connecticut should pick up Grit. I would say GRIT should end up on WCTX Channel 59, which is owned by Media General (formerly known as LIN TV). WCTX has not had a sub channel since July 2013 when LIN-TV cancelled their affiliation agreement with music channel TheCoolTV due to non-payment. Plus (at least in Connecticut and Rhode Island) Media General already has a relationship with Grit TV's parent company Katz Broadcasting as both WTNH (New Haven/Hartford) and WPRI (Providence) are affiliated with BOUNCE TV.

My dad loves westerns.  I have suggested he put up some rabbit ears and watch
GritTV, as Comcast Xfinity apparently does not carry it.  War movies are also a staple
of this channel.
