I'm curious.  What sort of programming runs on CPTV Sports?

For a time one of the WQED subchannels was running feeds of football games
from the PSAC (a D-II conference of schools in the Pennsylvania State University
System like Clarion, Bloomsburg, IUP and Slippery Rock)

High School Sports from various high schools across the state of Connecticut. Select New Britain Rockcats AA Baseball Games, Select Connecticut Sun WNBA Games not carried by WCTX, Nutmeg State Games, and they used to (I'm not sure if they still do or not) some Hartford Wolfpack AHL Hockey Games. Plus they air Motor Week which is a longtime PBS staple, but CPTV does not air on their main channel. Over the 4th of July they ran some old PBS documentaries such as "The Hotdog Show", The Ice cream show", and "Great Old Amusement Parks".

It's a joint venture between CPTV and Channel 3 WFSB. I don't know if I-Heart Media (formerly known as Clear Channel) is a partner or not, but there are frequent underwriting mentions of I-Hearts 2 sports stations in Hartford "97.9 ESPN" and "FOX Sports Radio 1410". They were once a cable only network, but switched to OTA on 24.3 replacing Create several years ago.

Used to live there.  Those working in broadcasting had to have a very nimble tongue.
