They're finally getting around to replacing their ratty fleets? I know the Sam's Club in Latham got the same model of cart in their fleet.

BJ's sent me an ad offering a one-year introductory membership for twenty dollars.  I figured "what the hey, it's twenty bucks" so I took them up on it.  Made my first visit to the Bridgeville location over the weekend.

It reminded me a whole lot of Costco with the following exceptions.

1) Overall footprint of the building was smaller, making it easier to shop.
2) Nowhere near the foot traffic inside (whereas Costco is typically insane).
3) Much less hectic traffic pattern than getting in and out of Costco.
4) Prices just a tad higher (which is somewhat offset by the 3 points above).
5) Nobody handing out free samples in the food aisles.

I did not do any grocery shopping on this trip but got some nice toys for the grandkids.  And gas here is 35 cents per gallon cheaper than anywhere else, which will make me think about renewing the membership.
