My first semester in college

Yes, I have been in college since August 21, 2009. It was high time I went back. Mind you, in high school, I had a GPA of 2.2. I was not the most academic person. In the 15 years since I graduated high school, I've been married, became a mom twice, also a step-mother and a foster mother/grandparent, and I've been loving life. I felt I needed to do something now that my kids were growing up. I started taking classes working toward my A.A.S. in Criminal Justice. This first semester I had Microcomputer Concepts, Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, College Writing and General Psychology. I just wanted to flaunt the fact that I'm 33 and I just received my very first 4.0. HAHAHA YES!!! I made the President's list for my school and everything!!! I only have 3 more semesters until I get my A.A.S, and then it's either on to a 4 year school or I go back to community for a degree in biology. We'll see how things play out after I get this degree.....Love to all. ;)

gothicgirl thats awsome its alwaysa good to see people go back to collage my uncle did and his life is so much better wish you luck

Thank you for the kind thoughts. only 15 more days until I go back. I can't wait. I'm waiting for the President's List to come out so I can print it and send it to my mom. I just sent her my grades lol She's never seen me get all A's. I was the C-D student.
