This Hills reminds me alot of a Caldor with the doors on the side. Does anyone know if thats what it originally was?

most hlls stores ahd that look caldor dod a simaler look to momst of there stores bvack in the 80's byt alot of caldors had teh 2 pillers on each side

and hills dident by any caldor locations cause in 1999 hills was converted into ames witch was teh sdame eyar caldor cled for good caldor did closes stroes in 1996 1997 and in 1998 but they dident become hills or anything

tell me about it. but last year I saw a vacant CAldor in Westfield. I did not see muich of it because the entrence to it was closed. it is demolsiehd to be rebuilt to home depot. I rarley see vacant caldors. but there could be some vacant in new jersey and new york.

well theres one in Newgtion CT theres a few in jersey i think about 6 and a few in de and such and the only one i know in New York thats still vacant is the one in middle town that stopre is gonna stay vacant for awile because of its size and were it located

but any way u do have some cool Caldor pics i know there mnt yours but u have had pictures of caldors i havent seen in aiwle like teh one in White Planes and the Portchster and the danbury CT one but if u have any more of them post them :)

here is an Ames that was a Caldor. This was in Somerdale new jersey and was 82,000 square feet. it will become a wal-mart.

this caldor was kingston new york. it is now burlington coat factory and is 82,000 square feet.

ive been to that caldor before it just became a  burlington coat factory this year i wish i had time to go see it beforwe it became one but yea that was one nice looking caldor on the insde ti had its own pharmice parking grasrged and a pizza hut in it :)

ive never been to the caldor in norwalk but ive seen the headqutaers before back in july 1999 and i saw it still there in 2002 but i dont know if its still therebut any way hear in westchster county NY we had sooo many caldors that was the discount store of westchert in a way when they went out most of teh stores around hear became kmart of kohls i rweally miss them but Target in a way reminds me of them :)

i know u wernt such a big fan of it but ive seen pics of yur caldor before and im not suprized lol  but a huge portan of there stores were keeped up so date
