Brammy

It's Brammy and I'm back on the board!

I just got back from King of Prussia, PA. I owed my friend Kyle lunch out, so we went to the in-store restaurant at the King of Prussia Wegmans  (my idea believe it or not, despite my earlier opinion about Wegmans). The Pub by Wegmans is a nice restaurant. The service was good and so was the food. I got the Reuben Sandwich with Tuscan Fries. I would definitely go back in the future.

The first Wegmans in North Carolina opened this past Sunday.  There were 3000 people waiting in line for the 7:00am grand opening and over 30,000 people passed through on opening day.  The 104,000 SF store is slightly smaller that their typical format, it does not have a pharmacy.  There are plans for additional stores planned for Cary(2 stores), Wake Forest, Holly Springs and Chapel Hill.

I think Wegman's and Publix will be fighting Harris Teeter in NC, I guess the loser will be Food Lion.

Wegman's filed plans to open their first Connecticut location in the Fairfield County town of Norwalk.
