herre is the 34,000 square foot jc penny in the north conway nh's mountain valley mall and it opened in late 1980 and will relocate within the property as the mall is getting redeveloped

This is a shot of the JC Penney's in Latham Circle Mall (as of 2-27-06).  This is a newer location, built probably 10-15 years ago to replace an older store (that is now part of the mall near the theaters - between the mall and the new Penney's, I believe)

This is the Bennington JC Penney store - it is an unusual store in not being in a mall (of course, there are no malls in Bennington, or for that matter anywhere in that part of VT - you'd have to go to Rutland to find one I think).  It is in a plaza with a Kmart and a Staples (former grocery store) and several smaller stores.

JCPenney is another store, like Sears, I cannot believe is still thriving. This store has always been second-rate, and for as long as I remember, they haven't really done anything new to their stores since the 80's I reckon. All of the ones around me look like they need some remodeling - especially ones at older malls (like Westfarms Mall) which have gone through several facelifts over the year. The JCPenney at Westfarms really drags this otherwise posh looking mall down with it's stained and scarred old building and dirt-filled signage.

I've got a picture of the JCPenney Logistics Center in Manchester, Connecticut near the Buckland Hills and (visible off) I-84 I took recently. It used to be a distribution and catalog store where people would be able to shop here. Now, I believe it's no longer available to the public.

JC Penny latley has done alot to improve there stores i now put them in the rank of being simaler to Kohls only a little bit more upscale i do liek them now and i dont think there going to gob anytime soon unlike Sears

This is the Croosgates store - it was original to the mall, but was expanded when the mall expanded a number of years ago.

The first is a small Catalog store on Route 7 in Cobleskill - it appears to be an appliance store that alsodoes JC Penney catalog, and also appears to have been there for quite a while.

The second is the store in Southside Mall on Route 23 in Oneonta.

I live about 10 minutes from Westfarms Mall - it was the mall we went to all the time. I still can't figure out why they've never renovated it (actually a trend for JCPenney to not modernize the facades of their stores) because it honestly looks the same from when it was built in the mid 70s. It probably was last touched up in the 1980s. The interior also looks a bit distressed against the posh image of the Westfarms Mall nowadays.
