Actually the car pictured was that of a 1983 Mercury LN7. It was the "twin" to the Ford Exp. The LN7 was a slow selling vehicle and was only produced in 1982 and 1983.

The vehicle picture you posted is a Volvo of some sorts. I cannot name the specific type because of all of the damage to the front of the car.
