1. to the left - tjhe white toys r us rectagular sign behind that sign in Springfield Mass. I took this picture in 2004.

2. top right - the toys r us in the holyoke mall in holyoke mass and was 36,000 sq.ft. and opened fall 1995 and is becoming babies r us. I took this picture in 2003.

3. below top - Toys r us in springfield mass that opened like 1980. notice how it appears to have been remodeled like 15 years ago. I took this picture in 2004.

4. bottom - side of the Toys r us in springfield mass. I took this picture in 2004.

1. to the left - Toys r us in LEominster mass that got deattached to the mall when filene's was built. it opened in fall 1992 in the old market basket and is 31,000 sq.ft. I took this picture in 2005.

2. to the top right - Toys r us in framingham mass. I heard its the busiest one in new england. It replaced an older location in 1994 and is 45,000 sq.ft. I took this picture in 1996

3. below top - toys r us in framingham mass with the updated R. I took this picture in 2003. the locatiuon is in shoppers world

4. bottom - Toys r us in leominster mass. I took this picture in 2001.

1. top - Toys r us in peabody mass that opened in liek 1978 - it has the earliest store number in mass. I took this picture in 1997. I remember seeing it when it was brown when I was in the area back in 1992, but I only went past it as my family and I were in the area too see the witch musem. but this store must have been remodeled between 1992-1995.

2. below top _ toys r us and kids r us together in peabody. the store is in the north shore mall parking lot. I took this picture in 2001

3. bottom  - Toys r us in Medford mass that opened in late 1992 in the old Child World. It closed in 2006. I took this picture in 2002.

1. top left hand picture is the side of the one in auburn mass. It opened in like 78 or 79, judging by the store number. I went there in 2002. It must have been remodeled 10 yrs before that.  I took this picture in 2002

2. bottom left hand picture is the side of the one in auburn mass. I took this picture in 2002

3. top right picture is the one in REvere mass. It has hte old look, but where its supposed to be brown is white. it must have been repainted over a year or two before I went there (I went there in 2002). It  closed in early 2005 due to lost lease. but the store is big and busy. I read it was 44,000 sq.ft. and opened 1988 or 1989. It was in the northgate shopping center. the hallway in the entrance was long. I took this picture in 2002.

4. below top - Toys r us in Auburn mass. I took this picture in 2002. it is across the auburn mall.

5. bottom one - Toys r us side and sign of the one in Auburn mass I took this picture in 2002.

2. top right picture is the toys r us in bellingham mass that opened in 1996 and is 33,000 sq.ft. It is in the home depot petsmart decathalon plaza. I took this picture in 2003.

3. below top is the Toys r us in North Dartmouth mass down the road from the mall and 30,000 sq.ft. and opened 1995 or 1996. I took this picture in 2003.

4. bottom - more of the toys r us in north dartmouth mass. I took this picture in 2003.

3. below top picture - Toys r us in Cambridge mass that opened in 1992 in the old ames / zayre. The store was small. my dad thought so too. The store closed in 2006, which did not surprise me. I took this picture in 2004

all 5 pictures are in swansea mass. I took these pictures in 2005 It opened like 25 yrs ago. IT appears it was remodeled a few years ago. It is near the swansea mall and 5 minutes from fall river.

on the top left picture notice the side and the 2nd left notice the sign.  on the top right picture notice where it appears to have had the rainbow entrance below the purple lettering where it would have been brown. on the picture below the top notice how the glass entrance is yellow. on the bottom right picture notice where it woudl have been brown.

3. the top right picutre is the Toys r us in Albany new york. I was told it opened in 1978 and got a facelift in the mid 1990s. it is 45,000 sq.ft. and across colonie center mall. I took this picutre in 2005.

5 bottom I was going to post the sign of hte one in albany, but accidently posted the chilis. the toys r us albany sign is in another picture.  that picture was taken in 2005.

I have posted every toys r us I have been to in the state of NY. The only ones I have not seen yet are the ones in naunet, new york city, long island, white plains.

2. 2nd left picture is the toys r us in warwick RI. It opened in 1978 and has the oldest store number in New england and was remodeled in 1997. it is big and awesome. I took this picture in 2005

3. top right picture is the Toys r us in Williston vermont (the only one in Vermont) and it opened 10 yrs ago and is probably in the mid or late 30,000s of sq.ft. I took this picture in 2002.

4. below top. Toys r us in WArwick RI - I took this picture in 2005.

5. botom picture ToyS r us in Orlando Florida. MY dad took this picture of me standing in front of it in 1993. I hear the store now is blue and has glass windows. I credit this picture to my dad Douglas Fife

 I went to one in albuquerque new mexico in 1995. my late mother (Whom died 2 months ago) and her late mother (whom died 9.5 yrs ago) were with me then and the Toys R us there was brown and looked like it was in the early 1980s era. it is probably remodeled by now. I have no picture of the one in albuquerque.

I have now posted pictures of all Toys r us' in new england except for the ones in Milford Ct, Westport Ct and Norwalk Ct and the closed one in east haven, which I will visit next year.

Some amazing pictures in there d_fife, especially those old-school Manchester, NH shots. I've got both Milford and Norwalk covered, pictures are on this page. I'd like to mention again that the vacant East Haven one is long gone as of 2005.

toys r us in catonsville maryland (near baltimore). a clerk told me this is one of the original stores. there was no slip tickets for video games. the inside had yellow streaks and the store was medium sized.
