BAbies r us in west hartford Ct (near farmington and new britian lines). I realize this was the first one in CT and probably opened 5 yrs ago.

Toys r us in west hartford Ct in the corbins corner plaza across the westfarms mall. I got to this store just as it was opening: at 10. they told it me it opened in 1982. I read it is 36,510 sq.ft. and I consider toys r us' under 40,000 sq.ft. not too big.

More proof there was a Toys "R" Us there, here's a cart I found right outside their former site in Waterbury.

It was found here in Price Chopper's space. Does anyone know how long the (old school) Toys R Us was vacant before they moved it down the street by Brass Mill Center?

Did you happen to see the other sign on the back street? It features the old school logo from when it was first built!

my guess is 5 yrs. it would have been nice to see the old school toys r us. this guy i know from the college told me it opened 1979.

Here's an Adams IGA Supermarket in Canton, Connecticut that looks like it could've been a Toys "R" Us in the 1970's. This building design replicates that of the Woburn Toys "R" Us in Massachusetts.

This store has to have been a Toys "R" Us a long time ago. It appears as if they've removed the vestibule that's usually draped in rainbow stripes. Look at the blue bars and where they're set up - almost looks like those were the windows. Also the V-stripes in the back were early rainbow bars now painted over in blue.

There were all kinds of pin holes and label scars. This building must've housed many things over the years.
