I'm looking to see if any of you know of what any of the Toys "R" Us stores in Massachusetts look like. Here's a list of stores still known to be standing (some might be vacant or converted pending earlier this year's closings or converts). Here's a list of them all and those that have been visited/confirmed.

Store eras/styles legend
1980s (or early 80s): Brown rippled roof-top, rainbow colored facade
1990s (or early 90s): Mostly white stone building, rainbow tiles over the entrance
2000s (or later 90s): [yellow] grid glass windows or blue-plated facade

but the one in springfield is number 750 something (it opened I beleive in 1980. It is white and but was remodeled probably like between 10-14 years ago. notice that there is some brown on the sides of the building. I HAVE BEEN TO EVERY TOYS R US IN MASSACHUSETTS AND HAVE PICTURES OF ALL OF THEm, but i took them with the camera that I used before I started using digital. I wil try to digitize those pictures.

Here's the Toys "R" Us I practically grew up in. This one is located in Corbin's Corner in West Hartford, Connecticut.

I'm not too sure when this store was built, I presume sometime in the early 80's. The exterior hasn't changed too much over the years.

In the mid to late 90's, before the "2000" interior renovation, which took place in 2001, the exit to the store used to be on the far right side of the building now an employee door.

If you look close enough, you can see where the double doors used to be. The exit now was also a newer addition.

Here's the Toys "R" Us in Newington, Connecticut in the Newington Fair plaza (my car is the black Honda) :).

They left some of the older facades on the building from when it was built in 1996. Note the Jeoffery and the "R" instead of the star R.

I wanted to report that we have lost one of the stores in the Memphis area.  Interestingly enough, it was located in a small shopping center that was next to the Mall of Memphis which closed a few years ago.  Since they have done nothing with the former Mall of memphis property in 2 years, it remains as to what they will do with the former Toys R Us building....

Here's the Toys "R" Us in Leominster, Massachusetts located at The Mall at Whitney Field formerly known as Searstown Mall. The store is located outparcel, on mall property.

Here was the Toys "R" Us in Holyoke, Massachusetts on February 10, 2006 formerly located inside the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside.

Here's the Toys "R" Us at the Holyoke Mall today which closed at the end of March. It's being converted into Babies "R" Us and still has a long way to go before completion. The mall entrance from the inside was completely walled off.

Here's the former Toys "R" Us at the Holyoke Mall from the nearby Filene's entrance. Babies "R" Us is expanding their space from Toys "R" Us's previous location.

I know it was built in fall 1992 because I then remember seeing an ad saying now open leominster, cambridge mass stores and that time I was anxious about the one in concord nh opening. I went on newslibrary and it said the Toys r us was the first market basket in leominster (which moved nearby).

the one in woburn is brown. when I last saw it in 2000 it was brown and my friends from around there have told me that it is still brown.
