Wow, the new York remodel looks so bland and ugly. How sad, indeed -- I was going to visit this store in May. I suspect Boardman, Ohio will be getting this kind of remodel soon (I believe they will be moving the Babies "R" Us into the vacant KRU).

how do you know they will remodel boardman and movie BAbies r us, babies r us is down the road. the store was York PA so there is no more Brown Toys r us' in Pennsylvania I guess. not all Toys r us' with BAbies r us added inside would be remodeled as They did a slight remodel to the Toys r us in Auburn when they put Babies r us in and to the one in Blasdell on page 43.

I don't know for sure, but whenever Boardman and Clay are up for a renovation, I have no doubt they won't or are in the works of exploring a move to couple the brands. John Eyler, the CEO, said himself he wants to couple the brands together in future stores -- that's why all the recent remodels and new stores you've seen include both stores in one.

Furthermore, York must've gotten remodeled Spring/Summer 2007 judging by its signage. I didn't realize your original visit was back in November 2006!

Clay, N.Y. is the last complete brown/rainbow Toys "R" Us left in entire Northeast!
