I know just about as much about it as you do, so we are going to have to wait for any further news or announcements...

Also it seems Meijer is taking it slow. what will be the closest ones to Cleveland? as that entry in 2019.
to answer my question, last talk of Minneapolis they said they paid for land in Brooklyn Park (But can do that years before the storei s open) and said it throttled back on expansion and will focus on Cleveland and have interest in Minneapolis but an entrance could be 4 to 5 years out. This was back in 2016 this was said.
it said one in Peoria they want to build wont open for several years.

A new Meijer is under construction in Avon OHIO (near Cleveland) (I saw this a few days ago) to open 2019. OK I recall now 2 years ago they said of opening in Minneapolis that the stage they are in with that is putting their toe in the water and expansion there is 4 to 5 years out. They purchased land in Brooklyn Park Minessota. They purchased land in Peoria IL but that they said wont be for years. Why they do that slow?

It wont open in Fond Du Lac until maybe 2022 the way it sounds, THATS TOO FAR AWAY! Will there be a foray in ST Louis and Iowa next? It also said 11 under construction / planned in Ohio. As they closed in Newark Oh, what of come to Heath Ohio?

In Muncie, Indiana they are across the road from each other (Menards and Meijer)

as of yesterday Meijer entered the Cleveland / Northeastern Ohio Market, with stores in Avon, Mentor and Stow
