I remember them too. My dad once had a Volare stationwagon he bought used. It was that ugly refrigerator yellow with the faux wood trim you saw on a lot of wagons back in the day still it was comfortable to ride in.

I believe it was the 318. Ultimately my dad sold it to one of his coworkers and got an 86 Olds Cutlass.
