I didn't even know there were stop and shops in south Jersey!

There was for a little while...maybe 5 years if that. Most were former Super G's and the parent company decided to drop that banner. Many recently became Shop Rites, unless the store was by another Shop Rite.

On this occasion ...the shop-rite has been there for 10 years now at least. That new stop and shop 2 blocks away is only 3 years old. I bet its pricing. But...thats my old neighborhood to so I dont keep up as much. :D

Wow, I never even knew those supermarkets were around in my area. I guess I didn't go out much to the towns that did have them.

Well in Maryland, at the Valero stations, many have Stop & Shop convenience stores. These stores had the same logo as the Stop & Shop we know. :holysh::huh:

I live in PA, and at Giant, they sold Stop & Shop-brand products for a short time. Now the same products are back to Giant (which used to be FINAST).:huh::huh:
