I've been taking them for a long time now! In fact, I've been taking pictures lonnnnnnnnng before I even knew about this board - I just didn't take pics of stores until recently

i was at one  for the frist time in aburn ma   and tryed ther new coffee   today they were giveing it out for free .  the mcds in my town is going to put thers in  starting tuesday night and plan on opeing  it on friday the 5th its like starbucks but mcds style

For some reason the one across the street from the ESPN Campus in Southington, CT is closed. There is yellow caution tape across the driveway. Maybe the health dept closed it down because I've heard stories about that place being very dirty.

Still nothing in the papers about why this McDonald's closed. The building is all boarded up and was repainted white. And all the signs are gone. All thats left is 3 flag poles.

I'll sure as heck will try. Either my camera is messed up or it didn't like the 94 cent batteries I fed it.  (picked them up at Walmart). I think I'm gonna have to break down and spend the $5.50 for an 8 pack of Duracells or Energizers.

Dollar stores sometimes sell awesome RAYOVAC ones that work......just some help marc.. :)

Jon, that's the brand I picked up for 94 cents at Wally. I put them in my camera and went to take some pix for this website. They didn't work. The camera turned on. I pushed the shutter button and the screen goes to black and the camera shuts off.

Of course now my camera might be permanently out of commission since I just remembered I left it in the glove box of my car and there has been sub-zero weather in CT the last few days. *DOH*

I read in today's newspaper that they might close the McDonald's on South Main Street in Massena, NY for 3-4 months this year and completely remodel it.  They closed one in Plattsburgh a while back for the same length of time, but they demolished it and rebuilt it from scratch.

They just put a McCafe in my McD here in Riverview, FL (at BigBend and 301), they just opened it yesterday and they were handing out free coffee/hot chocolate.

  yea  they give them out for a week here on fridays  the give out small  drinks they opend ours in july    in fact im geting a hot choclt fromthem tonight   but i hare its  2 grand for them to open one   i hope thers no mile long line like ther allways is our mcdsis allways mobed

In the summer of 1984, in San Ysidro, San Diego, California, the  infamous San Ysidro McDonald's Massacre occurred at the McDonald's on San Ysidro Blvd. led by the deranged James Oliver Huberty, with three guns, claiming to be 'hunting humans.' Most of his victims were Mexican or Mexican-American.
The McDonald's closed, and was torn down, sold to the city and a memorial was built on the site, as well as a community college. One of the survivors of the incident, Alberto Leos, currently works for the San Diego Police Department. He was a former McDonald's employee who survived gunshot wounds.
