Hi everyone. I am a new member.


I came here because I live near a current untouched Ames location. ;) I also lurk around the Caldor rainbow at times, trying to find what hawley lane mall looked like during it's Caldor age.
I then came across this forum, and couldn't help but to register.

were was the hawley lane mall??? like what town was it in u might be able to find a pic of it if u look though the caldor thead alot of pics have been posted on there of caldors that are long gone now if u wanna see a vacant one theres one in middletown ny there one in jersey and a few in DE

The Hawley lane mall is located in Trumbull CT. There is an article about it in the caldor rainbow, but it only shows current pictures.

My friend Nick (a fellow AMES Fan Club Member who goes by the name XISMZERO) runs the Caldor Rainbow. I'll see if I can convince him to swing by The Trumbull Library and see if they have any pictures and articles about the mall in its early years. That's how we got all the pictures and articles about The Meriden Square Mall in its early years - The Meriden Library.
