I'm assuming that the large piece of plywood is covering the old Acme sign which was probably part of the glass.  At least, it wasn't broken by vandals!

I wonder if this place is still around? I know of one ACME that still does business in this kind of building. It is in Clayton, NJ And I have 2 pictures of it on Flickr as well as in the ACME thread in Grocery/Supermarkets of this board.
